• Why Circus?

    Circus is a vibrant and physical art form that attracts diverse participants and audiences. People of all abilities can discover circus activities that they can approach with confidence – and grow from. Westside Circus exists to make a positive difference to the lives of young people aged 3-25 from diverse social, economic and social backgrounds.

  • Classes

    Discover the joys of circus. In our circus  classes participants learn a wide range of circus skills including aerials, tumbling, acrobalance, juggling, hula hoops, tight wire, walking globe, rola bola and more! Our mixed ability classes provide an opportunity for young people with disabilities to stretch their boundaries beyond expectations and challenge their perceived limitations. Our holiday program caters for the keen, enthusiastic and aspiring young acrobat to enhance their skills, as well as provides opportunities for the curious to experience the world of circus.

  • Schools and Groups

    Our Schools & Groups program provides innovative and accessible circus workshops from Pre-school to University levels. We deliver programs scaled to your needs, anything from one off workshops to term long programs either at our customised studio in Brunswick or at your own venue. . Every participant can find an activity within circus that is suited to their level of skills and ability. As a result, it enhances emotional and physical health by encouraging participants to be active and gain a sense of achievement.


  • In the Community

    Partnering with community organisations to deliver targeted activity is at the heart of our social division. We respond to identified needs in support of the development of young people. Our innovative programs are ideal for youth at risk of disengagement or groups that experience exclusion.We believe all young people deserve access to to creative and healthy activities.

  • Mixed Ability Program

    Westside Circus also runs a Mixed Ability Program, that provides opportunities for young people with disabilities and their families. The program is designed to challenge perceived limitations and stretch boundaries beyond expectations. The classes run fortnightly on Sundays during school terms. (AUSLAN Interpreter available on request).


  • Circus Troupe

    The Westside CIRCUS Troupe offers opportunities for our talented artists to perform and to develop their skills. We often perform at Festivals, open days and other special events.We create dynamic performances and interactive workshops that will suit your event and budget.  These can be drawn from our existing repertoire or devised especially to meet your needs.



  • Make A Donation

    Support our Mixed Ability Youth Circus Program. The fortnightly classes are led by trained and experienced circus trainers, and supported by specialist disability support workers (2 trainers, 2 support workers for every 10 participants).  To make this affordable the program is heavily subsidised and your donation will ensure the program remains accessible.

    Westside Circus is a registered charitable organisation with DGR (Tax Deductible Gift Recipient) status. Donations over $2 are tax deductible.
